The UML Ballroom Club and Campus Recreation Center are proud to announce two ballroom classes for the general public starting this fall: the Beginner Class and, for the first time, an Intermediate Class. These classes are open to all and usually fill up fast, so register early!
Schedule
Dance classes begin for the Fall semester on Thursday, September 25, 2008, and go to November 13, 2008.
All classes are on Thursday evenings.
Beginner Class
This 8-week beginner dance program is designed to introduce you to some popular
ballroom dance styles. A different style will be covered each
week. This program will be held on Thursday evenings in Studio 1
from 6:30-7:30pm, starting September 25th through November 13th. No partner
needed. Register at the CRC Welcome Desk by September 25th!
Intermediate Class
This 8-week intermediate dance program is designed to challenge
participants who have mastered the beginner class. A different style will be
covered each week. Focus will be on technique and the lead-follow
relationship as new steps are explored. This program will be held on Thursday evenings in Studio 2
from 7-8pm, starting September 25th through November 13th. No partner
needed. Register at the CRC Welcome Desk by September 25th!
Note: There is a class limit of 20 participants due to studio
size.

Prices per individual are the same for both classes:
- Student Members (University students): $25
- Non-Student Members (faculty/staff of the University): $40
- Non-Members: $55
