On Saturday, February 23, 2008, The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA will hold it's ninth annual Ballroom Dance competition.
Events:
- American Newcomer/Bronze: Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Cha Cha, Rumba, Swing
- American Silver: Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz, Cha Cha/Rumba, Swing, Mambo, Bolero
- Silver Latin: Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, Jive
- Fun dances as time permits

Registration:

*The Club historically subsidizes entree fees for club members.
Starting in Spring 2008 that system will be different. Club members
must pay for their first few competitions out of pocket in order to
earn partial and possibly full subsidization.
Rule Excerpts:
- Newcomers must have been dancing less than a year (started August 2007 or later)
- Newcomer American dances full Bronze syllabus
- No time limit for Bronze level, limited only by YCN/NECN points
- Dancers who have placed in Finals rounds at a collegiate events in Bronze are encouraged to dance Silver
- Competitors may only dance at one level per style, unless an event is not offered at their level
- Competitors may dance at two adjacent levels in one style in different roles
- No continuity or open footwork allowed at Newcomer or Bronze levels
- Costumes are allowed at all levels
