On March 8th and 9th, 2008, Harvard will hold the 17th Annual Harvard Invitational. Dancers who participated at the Harvard Beginners Compeition in 2007 will recieve half off their fees.

- American Silver: Waltz/Tango, Foxtrot, Cha Cha/Rumba, Swing

Sunday, March 9

- 2:00 PM - ALL Newcomer
- 3:00 PM - Smooth (Bronze-Gold)
- 5:15 PM - Event End

*The Club historically subsidizes entree fees for club members. Starting in Spring 2008 that system will be different. Club members must pay for their first few competitions out of pocket in order to earn partial and possibly full subsidization.
Rule Excerpts:
- Newcomers must be in their first semester dancing.
- Newcomer American dances full Bronze syllabus
- Bronze dancers may not have danced more than three full semesters. You must be in your third semester.
- Double Registration is allowed if competitors qualify for both levels
- You may register for two levels of the same event if you qualify for both.
- No continuity or open footwork allowed at Newcomer or Bronze levels
- Costumes are allowed at all levels except Newcomer.
- Spectator fee of $5 per person per day
